Driving through the north side of Aledo, you will find the newest and largest planned neighborhood this area has seen yet! Morningstar is a reality and I counted 5 new homes underway. This subdivision is comprised of over 700 acres of roughly 2000 platted home sites highlighted by walking trails, many water features and even a community amphitheater. The entry level with D.R. Horton homes is $255,000 for a 3 bedroom 2 bath with an office. The largest home plan I've seen is for a 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath (just over 3000 square feet), offered at $358,000. This community backs up to Walsh Ranch which is another community slated to begin selling in the Spring of 2017. Having lived in Aledo for over 20 years, I can tell you I'm going to miss our sleepy little small town atmosphere but growth in North Texas is unstoppable and it is like a freight train coming at Parker County! Pretty exciting stuff!
