Kaufman County Housing Market Update for September 2017

Year-over-year new listings increased by 78 homes Kaufman County with a total of 289 new listings in September 2017 and only 210 listings in September 2016.  However, Kaufman County saw a drop from August 2017 when there were 314 new listings.

The average days on market remains under the 2 month mark in Kaufman County where it takes approximately 57 months to sell a home.  The chart below shows the change in DOM since December 2016.

Number of sold homes: 194 (Up 3% compared to September 2016)

Median sold price: $224,500 (Up 17% compared to September 2016)

Days on the market: 57 (Up 19 days compared to September 2016)

Kaufman County Texas September 2017 Single-Family Homes on the Market

New listings: 289 (Up 38% compared to September 2016)

Active listings: 514 (Up 46% compared to September 2016)

Pending sales: 307 (Up 4% compared to September 2016)
